The Wooting 80HE is equipped with a Hall effect sensor that detects the pressure of each key in 0.1mm increments.
The full range of key presses is detected, from the start point to the end point of the switch, and all keys output an analog signal.
This allows for more sensitive and intuitive operation than simply turning the keyboard on and off, taking typing comfort and precise in-game control to a whole new level.

The Wooting 80HE supports a "True 8kHz polling rate" that processes both USB communication and analog key scanning at 8,000 times per second.
With processing speeds eight times faster than that of a typical keyboard, input lag is reduced to an astonishing 0.125 milliseconds, providing truly "instantaneous response."

This may be a bit of a delicate topic.
It eliminates the slowest component of input latency: the movement between a key being pressed and its activation.
The actuation point can be fully controlled within the range of 0.1mm to 4.0mm.
Each key can be set in 0.1mm increments, allowing you to customize it to suit your playing style.

Unparalleled performance.
It eliminates the second slowest component of input latency: the movement between key release and deactivation.
Rapid Trigger dynamically changes the actuation and release points: keys actuate the moment you press them, and release the moment you release them.

Even if you only return the key partway, you can press it again without going beyond a fixed reset or actuation point, allowing for rapid succession of keystrokes.

First we brought you Rapid Trigger, and now we bring you Rappy Snappy (patent pending).
Rappy Snappy monitors at least two pre-selected keys and activates the key that is pressed deeper. When combined with Rapid Trigger, it only compares active keys and activates faster when the paired key is released.
If both keys are pressed with the same depth, the configured SOCD (Simultaneous Directional Coupling) resolution method will be followed.
It provides overwhelming operability in any situation that requires precise timing, such as strafes and counter-strafes in FPS games, parry combos in fighting games, and complex simultaneous button presses in rhythm games.

Reduces noise and provides a soft typing feel.
The PCBA (printed circuit board) and switch plate are secured together with a silicone gasket, which absorbs shock, reducing typing noise and providing a softer feel when typing.

Softer sound, more flexible keystroke feel.
The polycarbonate switch plates reduce the high-pitched clicking sounds while typing, creating a softer overall typing experience and accentuating the lower clunk sounds.

Eliminates wobble.
The Wooting 80HE features screw-in stabilizers to prevent wobble, and is also compatible and interchangeable with many third-party screw-in and clip-in stabilizers.

The Wooting 80HE offers an excellent sound balance, neither too quiet nor too loud. Under normal conditions, the keyboard produces a low, resonant clunking sound and crisp response, making it comfortable and less tiring to use for extended periods of time.
What's more, by simply replacing the Lekker L60 V2 switches and keycaps, you can change the nuances of the sound to suit your tastes. No special modifications or tuning are required, so anyone can easily customize their sound to enjoy it.

This is a contactless magnetic switch that uses a Hall Effect sensor.
